Heritage roses and gardens - A small town garden

It is a small town garden, where roses intermingle with perennials and annuals. Ten years ago, a single rose was present. Today, the garden hosts many heritage and modern varieties. Creeping rosebushes cover the driveway forming, in May, a flower carport. Climbers prolong the show next to the terrace until autumn.

Behind the house the rose bushes are planted in "tiers": climbers close to the fence, then shrub roses and, finally, bushes of smaller size. During blooming, countless flowers - mostly of pastel colors - form a unique picture, allowing one to appreciate the diversity of shapes, colors and scents.
